Day 1 Cairo

Assemble at the international airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrival at Cairo airport, transfer to hotel & check-in, Overnight at Cairo. (B)

Day 2 Cairo

After breakfast, we visit the Great Pyramids at Cheops, the Pyramids of Khufu , Khafre, and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Khafre Drive through the countryside to the Sakkara Complex for a visit to the Step Pyramid, the first pyramid to be built, and the surrounding monuments. See the Pyramid of Teti with its inscribed texts, and several private tombs. After Lunch covered by client we visit the open air Museum at Memphis where the Colossus of Ramses the II, the largest statue of Ramses the Great can be seen in the place where it was discovered, see the Alabaster Sphinx alongside before returning to Cairo with a stop at a local school of carpet making where you will see the nimble fingered local children weaving carpets and wall hangings. Back to hotel & overnight Cairo. (B) (Optional- Evening Nile Dinner Cruise). Back to hotel & Overnight.

Day 3 Cairo

After breakfast vist Egyptian Museum / Islamic Cairo - Mohammed Ali Mosque & Green Mosque Khan El Khalili Bazaar. (Lunch covered by client). Coptic Cairo & some of the oldest Christian churches. Then we proceed to Khan El Khalili Old Bazaar. Overnight sleeper train with stretch legs to Aswan. (B)

Day 4 Aswan - Luxor

Breakfast in train. Arrive Aswan. Later visit to East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temple. Then West Bank - the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings (a visit to up to 3 tombs of your choice) and then onto Deir El-Bahari, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Check in hotel & overnight in Luxor. (B)

Day - 5 Luxor

After breakfast Free day touring in Luxor. Overnight seated train with Sleeper legs to Alexandria. (B)

Day - 6 Alexendria

Breakfast in train. Early arrival to Alexandria, by train, pick-up upon arrival.Visiting place of Anthony and Cleopatra, in the north on the Mediterranean Sea. A brief walk through Montazah Park, where you can see the King's Palace, then onto the open air Roman Amphitheater, the Catacombs. Visit the Citadel from the Islamic period, where a recent find maybe the Palace of Cleopatra. Drive by the newly rebuilt Library, built to replace the one burnt down during the time of Cleopatra. Lunch on your own in the popular Seafood district. Check-in hotel & overnight in Alexandria. (B)

Day - 7 Alexendria - Cairo

Breakfast & transfer to Alexandria railway station for trip back to Cairo. Meet & assist at station, (if you have plenty of time till departure) then we can arrange a half day tour for you in Cairo. Or you can have a self touring, then transfer to Cairo airprot for departure back home. (B)
